The grandfest of Verdi’s operas in the greatest opera house in the world.

“It's the Aida to crown all Aidas”: these were the words uttered by the great Zeffirelli at the end of a very memorable evening. His Aida had just opened La Scala's 2006/2007 season and the public had just greeted his work with 13 minutes of applause. This stupendous production of Aida returns in July 2009 with musicians of the highest calibre: Daniel Barenboim on the podium, Salvatore Licitra, Violetta Urmana and Juan Pons on stage.

The evening for our guests will be no ordinary La Scala experience, but rather a genuine celebration of music in the historic rooms of the opera house. A buffet consisting of the very best Milanese products will be offered before the opera begins and, at the end of the performance, the party will continue with toasting and a rich selection of sweet treats and fruit.

On request, a Gala Dinner on 3rd July at a historic mansion and on July 5th a concert on the parvis of the Duomo.
